Arthur Cheng has been working in the outdoor furniture industry since 1993. In 1999, he established Artie Garden International Ltd. It was a trading company at the beginning and he found that a trading company could not control the design and quality of products he wanted to make. In 2007, he set up the first factory.

ALT has been doing weaving producing line for over 4 years, on which each weaver is just doing a part of the weaving job but not finishing the whole item. In this way, weaving job gets easier and Artie can train new comers to be a weaver quickly.
